The Damned

As previously exclusively revealed in Issue 3 of trakMARX – The Damned box set project is progressing apace. Now titled "Play It At Your Sister" – the set is due for release by Fab-u-lus Records - via The Sanctuary Group in August 2002.

The Box will contain;

Vinyl – LP’s - "Damned Damned Damned" (with the infamous Hotrods sleeve) & "Music For Pleasure".

7" 45’s – "New Rose", "Neat Neat Neat", "Stretcher Case Baby/Sick Of Being Sick", "Problem Child" & "Don’t Cry Wolf"

A 7" vinyl EP featuring the first ever Damned demos – "See Her Tonight", "I Fall" & "Feel The Pain" – recorded by Matt Dangerfield of The Boys prior to the New Rose sessions in the summer of 1976.

A set of original Damned Badges.

A reproduction of the Damned Disciples Songbook.

A 12" by 12" 80 page hardback book.

The box-set will be preceded by a promo item – entitled Play It At Your Little Sister. This highly desirable collectors item will feature segued snippets from the demo cuts on a one-sided 7" vinyl 45 – the b-side will feature etched signatures from each member of The Damned. Attached to this will be a 5" CD featuring "New Rose" & "Help". Both will be housed in a card black Stiff Records house bag, with a 4 page 7" by 7" trailer leaflet for Play It At Your Sister.
